I was checking my brakes on my 2011 Sportsman 850 touring when I was changing tires and I noticed that I had no pad left!! :(
This with only 929km on it and mostly trail riding and very little hill. I rarely use my brakes as the engine brakes on the sportsman are very good.
A friend I ride with...
I'm thinking of running Zilla 30x11x14 front and back on my 2011 Polaris 850xp touring. Looking for more floatation in the skeg.
I'm putting a 3" highlifter lift on it this week so I don't think clearance should be an issue.
Anyone running this? how's it work?
Thanks
Kind of a sad but happy day, sold the Renegade and bought a cough cough Polaris Sportsman 850xpTouring.
Yeah, yeah I know, a step backwards but I was getting tiredof being covered in mud in the first 10 minutes of every ride and for somereason the Rene didn’t like water much and seemed to spend...
I've had some possible electrical issues with my 2010 can am renegade xxc right from the start.
It started with not always starting, having to turn the key back and forth from lights to full on a time or two before she'd fire up.
Then once on a rally, it wouldn't start and none of the...
I've got a buddy with a can am x mr who just put a new clutch kit in it, I'm wondering if his old one will work on my can am renegade xxc, I find the belt wants to slip if I baby it through mud and skeg holes in high gear range with 27" zillas on it.
Broke my first CV today, the rear inner CV, anyone know where I can get a good cheap replacement? I've found a cv on ebay for 70 + shipping and a whole rhino axle for 199 + shipping. A gorilla would be nice but not for 400.
A couple months back, I had my rzr into the dealer cause it wouldn't start, turned out to be a broken wire, anyway, the mechanic told me my compression was low on both cylinders and my idle seems to be a little rough. He suggested that I might think of getting a big bore kit in the future. I...
I'm thinking of getting some 30" mudzillas for my rzr, anyone have any experience with "bigger" tires for their rzr's?
Am I going to need a clutch kit to run them and will they fit with my two inch lift and highlifter springs? I drive my rzr through skeg and mud holes in low now.
I'm looking for some doors for the rzr, I heard there's a guy around Fairview that is making them. Saw some in GP at the polaris dealer that he did, looks good but I don't want to pay the mark up.
I've also seen a set at Fort St. John at the Polaris dealer there that someone local made, good...
Put on some polaris prospecter pro all season tracks, bought them used. First impression ride was not to bad but I think they'll be mostly used for winter and maybe some wet spring riding.
I thought they'd be hard to turn but the steering still feels very light, they are a rough ride though...
I may be buying a used set of Mattracks for my RZR, I'm wondering if they will work for me as they are off of a 700 king quad and I see that there are different tracks for ATV's and UTV's, I realise that I will have to order the mounting kit for my rzr.
If anyone has any experience with these...
So, I go to take the rzr out with the boys the other day, haven't ridden it for about close to 6 weeks, and guess what, she won't start.
I had it on the battery keeper so the batt isn't an issue, lots of cranking power but she just cranks and cranks.
The fuel is good and the efi seems to be...
Was thinking of painting my plastic fenders and was wondering if anyone has tired Krylon spray paint for plastic?
Does it hold up and stick to plastic atv fenders or just flake off over time. I know there are paints for this but was looking for something I can do myself without taking it to a...
Well it does now, but I stumbled on the problem just before giving up and going to the dealer.
I was out with the boys and got my rzr stuck in a deap soupy mud whole, while I was getting pulled out the quad died for about a minute. I got it re-started but it would not run better than idle, as...
Well, sold my BF the other day and got a new toy for the kids, I'll miss that awsome horsepower of the kawi but the looks on the kids faces make it all good.
Its a great little machine and even though its just a 170, it'll pull my fat ass up any hill and has no problem with the kids in it. The...
