thats suposed to be a special edition!!! why because it has a different decal, I hope they put a factory turbo on there or something (wow 250HP from the factory would be kool guys) because that yellow does not look too SPECIAL to me, looks like this years everest,
kinda boring,
and hey let me dream of 250HP for $12000, for just a few more minutes,

I'm gonna hang in there for the long track version of the 1200 4 stroke, this would be the sled to turbo imo...:D

High 5's ...your right on that my friend!!!! im not a turbo guy after owning the original lead sled RX 1...but i tell ya .things are a comin......... I'm just wondering how long it's going to take technology and the big 3 or 4 to put it to use so guys that ride like i do can have a sled that handles in the deep deep areas that you need light and nimble in. I'd love the 300 hp but same old story-----can you follow me in the deep and scary twisties on a rock ledge... not usually.... if it was the case i'd be playing on a turbo right now..hands down....hhmmmm....the future.........hang on one second --i gotta put on some jimmy hendricks and find my bong!!!

ummmm............ the tunnel is BLACK ;) & will probably have a suspension upgrade or something, like the XRS did in 07 (as per the "hill climber" name )

oh yeah.........keep dreamin'. you guys are talking like there are no good handling 4-strokes out there.......... they're only point & shoot sleds??? WRONG!!!!

I guess I'm going to have to post some video of you climbing in Golden so people can see how well you handle that Pink Sled of yours.

I have already posted a video of a Nytro doing what most people think would be impossible with a point and shoot sled. A rider with a passenger doing doughnuts. Have a look.

wasnt tyrin to get the 4 strokers in a huff.....i saw the sit down in the snow / lean and drive in a circle video...i was just saying the 4 stroke stuff IS still heavier than the 2's and for a guy MY size it's not as nimble as i'd like . And since i have owned and was one of the first to pre order my RX-1 i'm not just puffin hot smoke out my arse . I guess i could say that it's probably my inability to ride well .:(

not trying to sound defensive(much ;)) but just get a kick out of some of the comments, because generally they don't know how good thew new Yammy is. I was one of those guys too, till i got seat time on the Nytro & now i'll honestly never go back. I love the "brap brap" of the 2's, but you can't beat the reliabilty(Yamaha) & the endless possibilties of aftermarket upgrades to the 4strokers.:D
Ski doo will be no different with their new 1200(heavy submarine pig;)). hopefully it has the reliabilty that Yammy has & that all you Doo loyals deserve!!!! I have talked with a R&D rider for Doo & she says she loved the 1200 & it just rips!! I would like to see it & the rest of the lineup on the snow

sorry for hyjacking this thread..................:D
i DOO like the new colors & i think it's a good idea to add a sled or 2 that is different(tunnel, suspension, etc) as in the Special Edition or Hill Climber.
Now they need to add options like Fox Floats & billet wheels , etc. why let the after market companies get all the add ons after we buy the sled. I bet that most of us would add the bling right from factory if it was an option.
