You know I once had to pull my skid steer with my f150.
So I put 80lbs in the bags.
Sat level, pulled good.
Then a month later I was on the QE2 going to YEG when I felt a vibration.
Had 7 broken wheel studs.
Close call.
I feel this is similar.

2 sleds and a deck is probably same weight as a skidsteer and trailer, so yeah i see it being similar, lol

Well I didn't put the skid steer and the trailer on the sled deck, but if you understand how a trailer works the tongue puts weight on the rear axle.
Axle weight I bet your not far off.
But I think more so it is the constant hammering once you get so much pressure in the bags to level the load.
Zero suspension.
Anyways back to sled decks.

Those Firestone load levelers that you put in your half ton to turn it into a one ton.
It’s probably not as heavy as most people think. Most of the sled is in the air so that weight doesn’t count.....

As long as you have winter air in your tires and bags I can’t see the problem. I’ve been told that running summer air in winter really screws up the balance though

Ya know, I've helped unload that deck outa that truck, and that deck is just about as heavy as my old steel deck I had

So I did my own test ... got everything loaded for my trip on my 2017 F-150... which includes a full lotus deck, 800 axys, all my gear, extra 160L of gas under deck, tire chains and tools ... went over to my local scale and oh **** ....
Front axle = 1550kg rated 1633kg
Rear axle = 1990kg rated 1724kg
Total truck = 3530kg rated 3198kg
So I'm over 587lbs on my rear axle and 732lbs on total truck ...
This was an eye opener as I always thought I was at legal weight with just one sled on my 150 ....
So now what .... Lol ... gonna go this trip anyways ..

Total truck = 3530kg rated 3198kg
