Thats a pretty BadAzz pic, were you wearing a beacon and avy pack????

No beacons, no avy packs, no shovels, or probes... but we did have a top line AM/FM/Cassette deck in the pickup - with a well worn cassette of Huey Lewis and the News. ;-)

And that pull was WOT forever! That's all the wheelie she would muster going over the top, and the track up there was well set!

First one I inherited was a 78 lynx 250 single air cooled. First one I bought was a 93 ext 550 mountain cat 136" with neon green 1.25" plastic paddles and ski skins on the steel skis.

Mine was an old 88 phazer. I had two of them. Fastest sled out of the bunch when I was growing up. I guess being compared to a tundra and bravo and stuff that it would be tho haha. I thought the world of it tho. Started working on gas pumps at a local service station when I was 16 and saved up 900$ for that old beast lol

R.I.P. hell of a way to go. Abandoned and left for dead. I had a '92 Phazer II. It was my second sled.

The black one still runs and drives. My little cousin uses it every winter back in nfld. the purple one I scrapped. Needed the skid and track for the black one, front struts, the motor was blown in the purple one so I used it as parts.

The CN shack along the tracks by Allen creek.
Lol first sled I bought was a 82 Polaris cutlass 340. Roasted the motor and dropped a 440 in it out of a old Polaris tx. That sled was bitching fast. Remember crashing it in the ditch racing cars down the hi way. Lol flipped it back on to its skis and would fired right back up. Haha
Wish I had a camera back then.

This could go in the old G/F thread as well. First sled was a 1995 Polaris 600 RMK SKS.

First sled was a 1970 Skiroule RT 500!!!! Wished I had some pics of it. It was the fastest sled around....... when it run....... which was not often. We spent more time putting the harness on the team to go pull the piece of crap back than we spent riding it. It met it's demise one cold winter night, it was around -35F, (remember it like it was yesterday) my sister and I were trying to start it, she was holding the throttle wide open (as it was flooded) and I was pulling it over...... it fired up, the throttle stuck wide open and it had a good 100 yard down hill run before it hit square onto a power pole.... best thing that ever happened to it!!! lol The next sled was a 1973 Polaris 530 custom II, wicked sled!!! that thing was still running into the late 90's.. Good thread!!!!!

sorry no pictures, but my first sled was the old 69 olympic with the mighty 399 in er man that thing went pretty good for an old beast. Then ended up getting a 340 polaris colt me and my bro ended up putting an arctic cat motor in it so we called er the polcat lol. We ended up welding wheels on the front of both sleds did some jimmy rigging but it worked we did this for the summer pretty fun. Then i bought a 300tnt ended up putting a 340 in it tunnel cut er raised the front end up with square tubing on the skis just to get a little better climbing from er worked good. Then came along the phazer bought a 86 man those were fun sleds back in the day, i also had a 85 phazer as well. I then bought a 670 summit ended up modding it to much blew it up lots ended up selling it i now own a rev best sled ever hope to own a xm soon.
