I stayed at the Comfort Inn last year and it was great, there parking lot has lots of light and video that is put your through to your room, so that way you can keep an eye on things while drinking a beer in the comfort of your room!:D

I know a lot of people on this site are not fans of the Glacier House, but my girlfriend and I spent a weekend there last year and absolutely loved it. The food was spectacular, the people were great, the hot tub was hot (you can have your beer in it), and you can sled right from the main house or the cabin if you rent a cabin. I would recommend it after the great experience I had.

Hey now I`m no trail goddess Summitric, I`m the queen of the hill.

Summit889 thanks for suggesting Revy`s corporate sponsors.

The Best Western has cameras to watch you stuff from your room. They also give 10% off your meals if your a sledder.
The Sandman has security checks during the night.
From the Glacier House you have access to both Frisby and Boulder, they also have cabins if you are comming with your family or a large group.
Heard the Comfort Inn is putting in a bar-b-q and bull area for this season. You can also hitch a ride in the limo from the hotel or Zalas.
When you make your reservations mention that you are comming to ride, lots of them have sledder specials and some supply trail passes for their guests.
No matter where you stay in town it will take you longer to fuel up than to drive to Boulder of Frisby.

TylerG I agree with you on the Glacier House. Stayed there 2 times and was impressed both times. Some people have had issues but there is always 2 sides to any complaints. On the hill connected to both areas new modern clean place can/t be beat. OH YA huge supportor for the ASA at the snowshow and the ASA awards Banquet. Got my vote

Thanks everyone for their input. I have contacted Glacier House and am leaning that way just because of the convience of having boulder and Frisby out the door. Im taking a rookie with me that needs a rental and I understand they rent sleds aswell.

We are heading to Salmon Arm next week to spend a week house boating. On the way we are going to spend two nights in Revy at the Monashee. I'll be doing some sled trip scouting while I'm there.

Im booked in at the Glacier House Resort for Dec.26-30, Its pricey but just to convenient to go somewhere else , dont have to load and unload. Sledders fever has set in. It was +1 degrees celcius this morning in Calmar and I had nothin' but a smile on my face. IM STARTIN' TO PANIC, WHERE'S THE SNOW!!?? , man, I need to get a life.

Thanks Powderpuff for your help!!! I have contacted Randy at McCay Creek Holdings Revelstoke (sled rentals) for my bud and he said all his machines are new this year, my bud is still trying to decide which sled to rent as he has a good selection.

Didn`t see you guys either, light must of been green. Did see you in the spring when you drove through to Sicamous. Pretty tough to miss the trailer.
In the summer my husband and I run a roofing company and in the winter I work at Boulder or Frisby, apparently I`m like a Wal-Mart greeter.:D
I am also the president of the Revelstoke Snowmobile Club, they`re calling me President Bush.
I`ll let you guys know when the site is up again.

We have always stayed at the hillcrest. We have always had a very good experience with them. They are a little more money however never had a complaint with them. Nice outdoor hot tubs and you can drink it as well. They will even serve you there. If you have to rent a sled however I would also check out great canadian snowmobiel adventures they are not bad. Make sure you know when they are open however because they are usually riding on the weekend after 10am. my experiance
