Hello,

i,m a long time member of the board, and came to Sun Peaks on holiday with my family from Victoria. I went out on a trail ride from the resort and followed the clubs trail network. The snow is very deep, with no base. I end up burning up two belts and had to leave the sled and walk out last night.

im heading to Kamloops this morning to get belts and am looking for a couple of local riders that can give me a hand with the recovery.

the sled is 2008 Nytro, with lots of mods and is about 6 km from the launch. It is on the main southern trail from the warm-up shack back to the launch.

My contact info as follows:

Any help would be greatly Appreciated

That reeks. I'm too far away to help with the recovery, but I can say this. Nytros are not prone to blowing belts so something is up. Check your clutches when you can, and make sure snow is not getting into the cavity where the belt is. Maybe bring duct tape with you in case there us a hole, and a scotchbrite pad to buff up the surfaces.

Good luck.
