Hey, just wondering if anyone is doing any sledding around central Alberta. It is supposed to be nice this weekend and we would like to get out for a ride. Any snow in Rocky? If so, where do you unload and ride? Anyone been in Whitecourt? Thanks for your help.

Was out on the Olds and Caroline Tails this past weekend. The main trails are getting pounded out but there are some side trails that were still untouched with about 2' of untouched powder (watch for land mines). It was not to bad but could use another good dump of snow. You can stage at the Caroline Clubs staging area about 15 - 18 miles west of Caroline. The Olds Staging area is straight west of Bearberry about 2 - 3 miles. With the milder weather coming for this weekend it will soften the snow up which will help smooth out the ride a bit.
