Your calling the 700 poo a boat anchor? BWAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAA just shows the skidupid in you!!!!! The 700 poo is still considered the best engine they ever built. Anybody that calls it a boat anchor is obviuosly a short bus window licker!!!

As for boost yes the rotary valve is 10 times better than reeds. I have seen boosted 670's that were just freakin amazing and with a 136 track!!

[THEY BUILT] i had a 98 xc 600 and 700 long tracked that cold seized atleast 3 times each, then i put thermastat kits on them, then they were okay. and yes im skidupid to,thanks to polaris:)

The 700 is only considered the best engine that Polaris ever built because they haven't been able to build an 800 or 900 that can stay running long enough to beat the 700.

Dvst8r - You might want to check out Vibrant. They make some turbo application tubing that might work and I think it comes in 45s as well. I used it to jack up my pods (velocity stacks) here is a pic, I just used a 180 and cut it in half to make two 90's.

Modman, it made me LOL, as I have some of that exact stuff, but in 3" and 2.5" figures...

I will give HD a shot on the PVC pipe as it is a temp solution anyway, till it goes efi in the spring. If not I will hit up Mopac next week.

Thanks.

So it turns out that HD, Lowes and Totem in Airdrie do not deal in 2.5" PCV. However the 2" 90's that have the flared female end to accept normal 2" pipe fit just perfect. So I just have to send the wife to Mopac today, to get a couple 2.75" silicone couplers and should be good to go.

I will post up some pics when I get home tonight.

Must sound nice, miss the sound of the triples, just dont miss the sound of pistons burning up though, we used to changem on the trail when we all rode those early 80s Polaris 600s.

Got it done with the (2) 2" flared 90's and one 2.75" silicone coupler from Mopac, total cost ~ $13. I took some pics, but am just running out to catch my cousin play basketball, at the U.

I will post up the pics tonight when I get home.

Thanks again everyone for the help!
