Has anyone used these and with what kind of results? I see crappy tire has a few different one. A small one for 15 bucks that's puts out 1 W and one for 80 bucks that puts out 5.5 W.... Princess auto has one that puts out 2.4 W for 40 bucks. Wondering if something like this would be good enough to keep the boat battery charged while listening to the radio on the lake?

See what your radio output is and you have your answer, if your head unit puts out 10w per channel continuous and you have 4 speakers you's need a charger that puts out 40 watts to hold your battery neutral.

The solar chargers that are under 10 watts are really only good to keep a battery charged not so good at running things. You need to spend at least 500 or more to get a decent solar panel. One buddy I know spent 3000 on his solar charger and he has 6 6 volt batteries he runs his microwave off his batteries. That might be a little extreme but I guess it is whatever floats your boat!
