Silver Sands riding

Anyone been out to Silver Sands in the past few days?

We are heading out in the morning and would like to know if anyone has been there lately and how the riding is.......

Heard it was decent yesterday. Trail in is rough but the usual for SS. Lots of sleds also.

We went yesterday and the trail in was a little rough for sure, but it was snow covered all the way. It will be a little dicey after this past weekend - some of the creeks were starting to open up - so we were happy we chose to go there this weekend. The riding up top was excellent spring time conditions - found a few patches of lighter stuff but mostly hero snow. Only saw a couple of other riders the whole day -- everywhere we went there was lots of untracked play areas. Absolutely stunning bluebird day - not a cloud in the sky all day. Twas awesome!
