I"m looking for a barnstat or something to use in the shop that has a lower limit in the 3-4 degree range. I can only find thermostats that go down to 10 at the moment.

any suggestions?

set your thermostat closer to the heat source as to artifically increase the temp thereby forcing it to turn off quicker!

Just mount it a little off level, it should go down to about 4 or 5 degrees.

I have a digital programable in the shop that goes down to 7. Like was said...keep it close to the heat source and it should work.

just leave it loose so you can turn the whole thing off and then when you want it at temp just level it out again...

I have one in my garage at home, and it goes to "0" degrees celsius..... I got it at one of the electrical/heating warehouses...... Can't remember where though, sorry :( ...... We keep the garage at about 5*c when we're not using the garage for working on sled
