Redwater fires

Does anyone know if Bruderhiem is open or closed with the fires at Redwater as we were thinking of going there on Monday and Tuesday, or who I could call to find out.

Thanks for the info. Didn't want to load up then get there just to have to come home. Wanted to get the wife warmed up for the 24 weekend and tryout the toy hauler.

Fire is nowhere close to Bruderheim,I would suggest making sure you have a spark arrester as I hear they are checking and ticketing!

talked to my sister who lives in opal and they don't know how it started looks like it started where it was burning before two years ago

Doesn't surprise me, they can burn underground for a LONG time... Bruderhiem still has 40-50 identified hot spots still smouldering deep down in the peat moss.....
