Can anyone give me some info on Red Deer lake? Looking at some property but it almost seems too good to be true. Is it a dead lake? Shallow? What's the deal?

You are right no fish, dead. Its an alkaline lake. It's not a deep lake. It all depends what you want to do at a lake.

What sub division you looking in? The lake is horrible and a real pain in a$$ to load a boat in. Great area and some sledding in the winter.

Not really looking at a particular sub division. Just noticed lots from 22,000 up to 40,000. Some are on the NE side and some are SE. Seems like a pretty good deal for a lot near a lake. Buffalo Lake is close by so maybe that would be the place to take the boat.
