Recall for 09 nytros...

Just got the letter today. It concerns the right side upper A-arm bolt loosening on its own... here's a photo of the letter I got.

Yeah I got the same one, Also says don't ride the machine tilll it has been fixed. Funny I have not heard of any wrecks?

this has been a problem for a long time, totally yammaha has been warning to check this for 2 years now. its not a death issue but will damage the a-arm and spindle if happens.

I have read about it on there as well...

I called my dealer and he said I could ride it and just to keep an eye on the bolt and then bring it in when it is convienient for me...

I checked mine and they are still tight.

I believe this is different as it only applies to the 09's. What you are referring to was a ball joint wear problem on some 08's
