Got a couple texts from some sledding friends that Polaris is on the verge of releasing a Turbo 850 also.
Any truth or just a sham?

Buddy of mine is a friend of Chris Burandt's. He asked him if he should wait till next year and buy a 2020 with rebates or buy whatever Polaris would be releasing in 2021. He told him to take the rebates and get the 2020. Take it how you want to.

Snow check is coming soon.
See whats up then for sure then for 2021.
Two consumer choices would be great, doo definatly would be in the lead on in service testing.
Maybe there is still hope for 180 hp factory turbo for next winter.

it would also be pretty sweet to not have to resort to riding a doo just so you could have a “factory turbo” although I am in love with my mtntk kit...

If they were smart they will relase a sled that doesnt increase boost as elevation increases. Then they will have a winner.

Or a progressive like Doo but go to 6# boost at 8000'.
Boom! Sales leader......
A little more HP than stock would be awesome and attract even more sales.
Doo has a great sled with the turbo but so far videos show not much gain for the $$$$$ at 5500'.
If Poo pulls the trigger also hope it's at 180HP.

Unfortunately since the 850T sled has been released, we have not had the conditions that will make that sled shine.

Put a stock 850 in 4 feet of fresh, with that turbo. No comparison is what Im thinking.

This 850T will only get better, exciting times in the Mtn sled segment.
Will polaris release a turbo??? I actually hope they do.

These are my 2 cents tho.

I really think you would like that Doo 850 turbo or non turbo, Randy. Huge improvements over your 2017.

I am on the fence, not sure which way to fall.
I never say never to any brand.
But this is snowcheck year for me.
