mechanical or rather electrical problems with the SnowCat. Might be a glitch in the computer as it all of a sudden "stops". Not when moving but when stopped it won't engage the tracks again.

If you shut it off and restart, it is fine and then if you stop, it may not move. So we loaded it on the trailer, took it to the shop as it is easier to fix there than out on the trail.

Finding more trail to the Wrangler's tomorrow....snowshoes, chainsaw, and the GPS. Should be finished tomorrow and then we just have to mark it well. Get some signs for the sledders and the loggers at the crossing and maybe people will be happy!

that sucks hopefully not too serious of an issue....

Mine did same thing...same as if you open the door when moving. We checked everything for hours, then finally we found the culprit. Small micro switch under the left armrest. Also disbles the tracks. Switch was fine but wires into the switch had partially broken. Would sometimes work and then just stop...
