That looks nasty. How's the grouzers holding out?

I'm interested as our mechanic is paranoid about running on the road in the early and late season.

Grousers are fine (so far)...most of the ice cleats (carbides) have worn down to almost zero, and of course you know the issues with the blade. But so far grousers are showing very little wear. Learned a valuable lesson yesterday though. Took out the windshield with my forehead...that hurt (the head and the wallet) LOL

Ended up with a concussion, not fun...

Thanks for the grouzer report.

Sorry to hear about the concussion. In my early days of grooming, went over a fairly steep, pointy hill, and the cab came up. Both of us kissed the windshield and said, "holy sheeeeet". The hill was soo steep that we couldn't pull the cab back down (haven't got the fancy electric up and down attachment), had to drive down to where it was a little more forgiving and we got it down.

The two pins had worked themselves loose and were laying on the bed. We were lucky and had no damage to the windshield.

Chit happens and in the walk-around I now check the cab pins, always!
