Thanks to rough-country for a true snow condition report
Seems like early season reports are questionable but he was
right on. Thx

Didnt see your report . The other reports wernt from snow & mud

Just asking.

I figured posting pics with a probe in the snow shows the real depth pretty well.

I take all reports with a grain of salt. They are only accurate at the time they were taken. 8 hours later it can be quite different.

Good to see you guys didn't have any carnage.

What can really be said about the conditions for this time of year other then fantastic. I don't think there is anyone that rode today that would not agree. Sure it's early season and there are open frozen creeks, and the odd rock but with the sunshine and clear skies you can see and ride around these hazards. Glad to see some great pics being posted and with snow in the forecast for this week it will only get better.

A few of us rode Sale on Saturday and Frisby on Sunday. The only carnage came from over jumping a table top like feature, bent the rails on a '14 Cat. Other than that it was an awesome start to the season!! This upcoming storm is definitely needed at this point.
