Yup. Still a few mines. Just barley touched a stump yesterday that would have been a day ender if i would have hit it full on. But the snow is coming along nicely. We had a pretty awesome day in the rolling hills.

Morrissey was Pretty good. You can ride from the bottom parking lot, or drive farther. We parked at the small pull out just above the first hair pin turn. A few guys were parked at the rock ( not really any need to go that far as theres lots of coverage to ride) but if you are going to drive up please be cautious coming back down, the road is icy. Someone found out the hard way last night, and put their truck deep in the ditch between the rock quarry and the lower lot.

I think Hevy_Chevy and myself might make a day trip out this weekend, try to get rid of the jitters before the holiday. We might be bringing a new guy along so we may just stick to Wrangler and area, but if we do decide to try a new spot what would you guys suggest?

Has their been any fresh falling recently? Also how are the staging areas in Corbin and Coal Creek? Might go for a ride this weekend for a day trip.

Hevy_Chevy and I day-tripped down yesterday, had a blast. We had to look for it, but found lots of great snow without tracks.

The wife and I were down there yesterday and I guess we missed you. Rode behind the Rolling Hills cabin and in some untouched meadows over by the Wrangler's cabin. It was a great day and even with 24 trucks in the parking lot at Coal Creek, we didn't see a soul in our riding areas.

We unloaded at Corbin (figured we might as well learn where it was for future reference) along with about 10-12 other trucks, but were never saw anyone save for two fellas all day. We swung into the Wrangler cabin to see who was around and we were the only guys there till two other riders pulled up for a few minutes.

We could hear sleds, but just didn't see anyone all day.

Next time we'll try to meet up Doug

So nobody is saying it's to thin. I'm assuming the land mines are all covered up for the most parts in the rolling hills and the notch?

Step carefully, still lots of stuff waiting for a chance to remove pieces of your machine for you.

Assume bent a arms and I think you'll be safer. Was in rolling hills area last year end of January and watched my buddy cartwheel over the handle bars from hitting a stump. Does sound like more snow this year so far though.
