November 11 is a Looooooong way away in the snowfall world. Ive seen it where there is 5cm on the ground an a week later were sledding. Getting dumped on in Golden is no surprize to me

not worried about large locks this early in the season?

its kinda like russian roulette lol,,,

yes you must be aware of things hiding,,, and something that looks too good needs to wait,,, but quartz is a good spot for early riding it seems to dump...

we usually work the same spots so we have a good idea of whats hiding but the odds are obviously higher for carnage.

A person must remeber that it is early season riding kinda like late season riding. Because yes there can be some landmines out there.

Landmines....found one late season last year....broke right arms and cracked oil injection tank, front bumper, etc. damn rocks!!

Thing I find with early season is the bottomless snow. Be prepared to dig and lift! Especially if people are stopping in stupid spots =)

Check the forecast for Golden...

Looks like moisture is on it's way. 10mm down at the bottom could mean feet up top.
