dropped in a pair of dual ring pistons from MCB in the 09 mid season a few years ago. Not issues with them.

RK tech's drop in kit is very popular as well. I think its under $400 cdn.

how many kms on your motor? may be better off putting in a new short block, cheap insurance my friend, anything around 2500 kms id be looking into it. or buy a rebuilt crank from doo.

Go with the MCB put them in 2 sleds last year. Work great and under half the price.

Nical bores look good for a long time. Better off to pull the Y pipe and look at the exhaust side of the pistons.

Good reference for 800 ho and r engines is 4500-5000kms do the top end so your not doing the bottom end from collateral damage. I would start looking at the crank or doing a short block at 7500 kms. Not many peeps keep there sleds that long if your an average rider.

I pull the raves out to see the exhaust side of the piston.

Reeds out for the intake
