Wait, people actually fish in them little shacks? I thought those were just portable drinking huts.

My grandpa taught me so I still just use a stick with line. Wire worm. Depending on which trout I like to learn the lake. Structures. Visibility depending on weather. Put in the work and it pays off. I prefer targeting brook and rainbows. Find them the funnest

I have all equipment and may help.
I fish in a tent, prefer trout, white fish.
Last year was fishing on Spray, Ghost, Chains.
Always had a fish.
Easiest way to fish - going stocked lakes.

4" of ice for walking, 12" for driving. Didn't get any real ice before the snow this year so gonna be sketchy. Be safe out there.

East pit by wabamum has been good to me in the past just a plain small gamagatzu hook a small splitshot about 2 feet up baited with some berkley power bait putty in pink or orange in a ball covering the whole hook and you should get them. Pack lite is quite a walk up the hill at the end of the day.

can u give tips?

Start with hook 6 feet below bottom of ice. If no ice you are probably swimming. Do a backstroke. If ice...Gig three times in seven seconds then let it sit for four seconds. Let it sit for five more seconds then gig three times over 11.4 seconds. let it sit for 6.2 seconds. If no fish drill a hole one foot to the north east and lower hook one foot below start point. Repeat until either a fish is caught or it is to drunk out to fish.
