AGREED. mine are down 100% of the time. havent had to replaced a set of hifax in years. cools the clips on the track, prevents delam. they do far more than keep just the engine at operating temp like you said

I'm another one with them down all day. They may go up for a roll-over so that some clothing doesn't get poked/ripped but when riding they are always down.

Some even have the gall to say that is why I get stuck................"your scratchers are down, that's why you got stuck!"
