word is they tryed to brush the lower trail but snow prevented quads going more than a km or so.
the upper road had a mud slide in spring last year and can be passed but ...

people have been in there but as usual everyone is hush hush.
I'm lead to believe its good ...

Truck and trailer worthy or just sled deck advisable?

First time to Hope on Saturday (15th). I can see how parking can be interesting, but it seemed to work out that day ok. The mud slide that guys refer to must have been fun for the first few guys poking through it. haha All good now. Worth the trip? Yes, I'd go again.

Be careful, some big avy terrain to cross. There have been fatalities in there on some of the big hills.

Cut blocks and bottom of alpine are still a little thin, but up top is great!

It's a secret...if you were to drive to Chatter Creek is is along that road. Head through Donald and follow that twisty road for 45km. I'm sure there are others who can give more detailed directions, as I just followed someone there. Better to go there with a deck, not a trailer. Road is twisty and narrow and sometimes there isn't much of a spot to turn around.

Its a great area to ride but forsure if your going in for the first time go with someone that knows it. This area has had some big slides and has taken lives but can also be one of the best rides you have ever been on

It's one hell of a haul down that crappy road, and the parking is a nightmare to say the least last time we were there we got so blocked in with other vehicles that we could barely get loaded up let alone Waite an hour plus for people to move. The area was fairly decent we prefer quartz or Gorman as they are much closer and safer riding areas with plenty of parking... Lol we also found that driving an extra30+ minutes to ride Revy was well worth it for better snow and to avoid that painful drive in on that sh*ty road.

not for the faint of heart...
2 Guys died in an avy there 2 years ago IIRC on Mt Gerald
Avy bag is probably a good thing
Experienced Riders only....worth the drive after a fresh snowfall

Was there a couple days ago. Huge drought in Golden. Was worth the drive. Not many guys make the trek. We found a great spot. Lots of snow and safe. Huge amount of riding in avy paths
