who rides when its colder than -15 anyways lol Only in Golden.....

The Avatar lists 830gr for a medium. Have you had any durability concerns with the Kali? I was going to replace my Suomy which I have had some issues with the threaded visor inserts spinning in the shell and just fragile visors to the Airoh's (Aviator is 950gr) as the visors seem more durable, but the Kali's have caught my attention.

not one problem yet, shes been through 2 seasons (5000km).

everyone that picks it up is highly surprised by the weight

Ok Mr Bic, the smallest Mr Clean stand in around.

Go read reviews on the Airoh Terminator it's identical and been around a few years.

Dave have you tried one of these? I've been eyeing them up but can't find any reviews.

Price has gone up but still 1/3 of any helmet I have ridden with, I actually ride a small, I can fit a medium but the small is what i normally ride and am a small in this so sizing is comparable to what you use now, hope that helps

Just ordered a Kali. 878 grams. I guess I’ll see how it fits when it shows up.

What are they worth nowadays?
Paid $73 with shipping to my door. Comes Wednesday. Feels like a waffle, don’t really trust it but will see what happens.

Picked up one of those CKX titans for this season.
Here's to hoping it's good.

I have been eyeing those lids for awhile now, the goggle seem pretty chincy though. Maybe next season I will get into one,.. you will have to do a review after the season.

Are there still SNELL ratings?

CPSC Bicycle rating.

The way I look at it, if it’s strong enough to save a mountain biker doing 80 km/h smacking into a tree it will be strong enough for some tree riding doing 40 km/h.

Snell is way overboard for sledding in my opinion. The fastest most mountain sledders move is 80km down the trails

Hmmm justify that to insurance company if you ever need to for personnel injury or disability.
Just sayin it's still a bicycle helmet.

I did see those Kali's on Amazon, I picked up mine locally for $137 but it just didn't have enough cushion in the foam for me so I returned it.

In the last 25 years can you show evidence of any insurance company not providing coverage for personal injury to a rider? Especially in AB where helmet laws only came into existence 2 years ago, let alone the remainder of the country. I would be really curious to see it.

If an insurance company is going to cover you when you get hit by a car while on a bicycle wearing a bicycle helmet do you find reason to believe wearing a helmet on a snowmobile which may or may not have a specific rating is going to result in any denied claims?
