In the last 25 years can you show evidence of any insurance company not providing coverage for personal injury to a rider? Especially in AB where helmet laws only came into existence 2 years ago, let alone the remainder of the country. I would be really curious to see it.

If an insurance company is going to cover you when you get hit by a car while on a bicycle wearing a bicycle helmet do you find reason to believe wearing a helmet on a snowmobile which may or may not have a specific rating is going to result in any denied claims?

Seems interesting that when The wife and got our personal life insurance we were asked if we were mountain sledders, and if we participated in the practice called hymarking. I had to ask them what they thought the definition of hymarking to them was.

Snowmobiling is considered an extreme sport by some policy underwriters. My policy specifically covers motorized vehicle accidents/high risk lifestyle. Has nothing to do with helmets.

Anyone use a fox helmet?

CW had a black Friday deal last year....reg $599 on for $250. Hopefully they have em again.

I use a Fox V3 on my dirtcycle i also have a few TLD lids i like. If you want a V3 or new V4 do it...i love mine.

I run the Airoh Aviator, absolutely love it, pricey though

You can find them for $600 range, thats realistic price for a quality lid

Thats odd you can run a V3 and a TLD, the TLD are a round/round shell design and the V3 is a Oval/Round, they fit quite different. I can't wear a TLD because of their shells

TLD i swapped check pads and fit pretty good, nose is closer to the face but minor....only down fall on the V3 is with a neck brace the sides of the helmet sit lower then the TLD. I swapped Alpinestar brace for a Atlas this year...hope it helps.

Yeah its close. Feels like if you hit anything its going to smash your face! I used to have a V3 but at the time I found they quite a bit heavier than some of the others. But again, thats 8ish years ago

the 509 sinisters goggles look to fit better
