Good riding near Edmonton???

My friend and I are meeting in the Edmonton area to do some riding but are unfamiliar with the area- any suggestions on good places to ride near Edmonton?

Bruderheim/Redwater area is about all that I have been to. Has a mix of everything. I know there are a couple of areas west of Edmonton, but it is under close watch as of late (Hells Half Acre)

Pretty hard right around Edmonton. If your willing to drive a couple of hours there's a few more options. There's Vega, Long Island lake, whitecourt and more but they are all 2ish hours away.
