Just wondering if anybody has put a genesis 1000 in a rev chasis? Would it be worth it? Should I just turbo the 800? What does everybody think? Thanks:beer:

All I will say is that you please reallly, reallllllllly, reallllllly realllllyyy do your homework before buying one of these motors.

You might want to do some reading and investigating first before buying.

I want my money bruce!!!!!!!!!!!! - SnoWest Forum

I'm not saying - I'm just saying.......;)

If it was my money, I'd buy this one - 1075cc BB for Ski-doo twins... - Page 3 - SnoWest Forum

Talk to more-torque, that 1075 was for sale for $4500 (maybe still is), way cheaper than PSI genesis and way more powerful IMO.

I've got an 1150 Cutler built by Brent Linderman for sale. These motors have been put in revs before. It's on a cat 900 bottom end.

On the 860 or the bigger kit, the xp use 900 cat pistions also. The boss has the bigger kit on his xp. Says it works really well but never have seen it go.

Just doing a customer a favor, he has his sled for sale. It is a Rev dropped and rolled with our custom tunnel, lots of lightweight parts and a 1160 twin. Call the shop at (780) 474-9400 and we can pass on the information if you wish or pm us. I don't know whether this helps you or not but you never know.

What is the reliability of the 1160 compared to the 1075? I want to increase in hp but if I have to be wrenching on it every other weekend, that's not so good. I know there is a price to pay for hp, but how far do you go?

We have had good luck with the 1160. It is on a Cat 900 bottom end which is very strong. Complete billet top end. These motors rev at 7800-7900 rpm which also helps durability. Also they are Canadian made and with a phone call we can talk to the builder so there are no exchange or cross border issues. We have a brand new 1160 in stock complete if you are interested.

lol i hate to say this

but pm longhairedfreak he runs one in a poo chassis.

he will tell you its faster than all the turbos.

MMagic built that sled for him anyways, so you're better off talking directly to them, they know how to make 'em run.
