Riding on New Years Day my 2010 Dragon 800 just quit on me. From what I have been reading it sounds like a voltage regulator. I hope the ECU did not go as well. I was able to get it back to the trailer but would like to start working on it myself vs. paying someone at the shop. I would like to know if the VR is located below the spare belt holder-plastic housing as lots of wires disappear under there. If I pull the ECU and it is cooked how will I know. Does it looked damaged?

I am new to the site! Live in Cheyenne, Wyoming and been riding for 3 years. I am addicted to this sport and only want to get better so I push the envelope a little more each time I go out. I ride a 2010 Polaris 155-800 Dragon-stock except for a pipe and can.

See my reply to your earlier thread. Yes VE and ECU are under the cover. Very easy to change.
