December Snow Conditions

Riding 3 days starting the 29th. Looking like we will have to search for the snow. Doesn't matter, any day on the sled is a good day.

This is our first time staying right in McBride, normally we stay in Valemount or at Terracana, but we haven't made any plans for New Year's Eve (and heck we may be too tired anyway), but there will be at least 6 of us ranging in age from 40 - 55, where would you recommend we bring in the New Year? Named the Grizzly earlier just because most of the guys have been there and it's a pretty nice place, and the ladies do want to check it out at some point during our trip.

we have a live band, drinks and noise makers at the elks hall. dance tickets are 15 per person. always a good time. hosted by the snowmobile club.

Heading out tomorrow 26-30th any snow conditions to update? Weather seems to change daily on my phone hoping for a small dump and clear sky!!!!

Got here about 1/2 hr ago. Roads all the way from Edmonton were in great shape. Not one car or truck on the road all the way from Hinton to mcbride. I was surprised. Clear sky, a bit chilly in town

Rode Renshaw today. went up to the cabin to show the guys. then headed down to km27 went up into the anthills again as it was pretty socked in. The tracks from last week were still showing with a skiff of snow on them. There was still a lot of playing left. The snow consolidated down to about 4" - 6" of powder on top of a base but there was a lot of untouched left in both blackwater and the anthills. The best part of the day is at 4:00 we decided to head down as it was snowing real big flakes and heavy, hope this keeps it up. As we got to the trail it was snowing even heavier and was not letting up. Sweeeeet. Sledded with warren and mike s on there new t3's. Someone forgot there carbides on both skidoo's

Hit up Renshaw today , trail was excellent up and down. Snow is very wind blown in the high and open areas , but if you get down in the trees or any wind protected areas , you'll find over 2ft of fresh stuff! Made for an awesome day with some sun for a few hours .

Any new snow at Mcbride got a crew headin up to ride 29 30 31

Snowed very little last 2 days and nothing in the forecast atleast on my phone. Prince George got the dump not here.

Got into town at 11. Went up Belle, snow up top is wind blown. But deep in the burn it's 12-24 inches. But low snow, lots of timber/trees showing, you have to be careful! White light, and very light snow, not accumulating to much!
