Added some goodies to the .17 Super Mag. Boyds Featherweight Thumbhole Stock and a Glades Amory extended bolt handle. Really really like this rifle now. Was picking off muskrats yesterday at 100 yards :D:D:D:D:)

So what's your idea of a cool gun?
odd ball caliber? Rare and few made gun's? Common gun but with all kinds of gadgets attached and mounted to it? Replicas? Vintage? Blackpowder? WW1/WW2 arms?

I'm actually looking for a WW2 M1 Garande and also a M1 Carbine.
All guns are cool. I have nothing old other than a few shotguns. I'd like to get into some muzzle loader stuff some time. I shoot everything I own. I like to be able to reload everything I own except of course the AR stuff. 338,416 ? A nitro express would be cool.

Picked up a Beretta A400 Extreme 12ga 3.5" on the weekend since goose season is coming. Showed it to my daugjhter and she said she wants to come for geese this year so looks like I will be shoppin for a 20ga for her. She claimed my 6mm two years ago and last year let me know that the .223 was hers also. Kids.....they just keep you shoppin! ;):d

Im in the same boat. My son got right into shooting and hunting with me. So far that's cost me an extra 7rem mag, 7mm-08, .204, auto 12 gauge and a pump 12.
I checked out the Red Deer gun show the other day and bought myself a nice shotty. F.A.I.R SSX12 auto, inertia driven. Italian. Nice wood work.

th

This is what the Baretta looks like, tried a 30" barrel this time for hopfully a smoother swing and a bit loger aim length. Shoulders nice but still kicks a bit with 3.5". Not much kick with 3" shells.

Think its going to be a Stoeger Model 3020 in 20 gauge with a 26" barrell for my daughter.
Anybody have one of these, hoping that with the inertia driven system in 20ga the recoil will be pretty mild.

Very similar to a Barrett 50cal, except bullpup. And the Barrett has a _way_ cooler brake. I had always assumed Barrett had patented the recoiling barrel system but evidently not.
