Clutch Rebuilding 101

Thanks too Brian I’m learning how these clutch’s work and how too make em work like new. Never had the nerve too dig in too one but here we go.Now too geter back together again!

Main thing is just keeping them clean so everything moves freely, and replacing wear parts as required. The bushing in the secondary spring cap goes out of spec pretty quick. You got the 3 little puck holder tools for putting it back together?

edit - sorry said "secondary" spring cap; I meant the little bushing in the end of the primary spring cap top right of your picture. IIRC one of the bushings in the secondary clutch can wear relatively quickly as well.

Brp makes a nice rebuild kit for those style about 140$ comes with everything you need. And a good cleaning like your doing a frequently necessary

I did it every year on my sledswith that kit. $150 is cheap and it’s so easy to do.
