I’m on the pto side and it looks like I have to pull the steering shaft out to pull the valve...what’s the torque spec on the bolts that hold the steering shaft?

You don’t. Just hold your tongue right.

Lol I’m having issues getting the ball part of upper portion of the shaft, is a guy supposed to use vice grips to hold the ‘ball’ in place while I rattle the nut off?

Are you actually taking the steering shaft out. I didn’t have to. I was able to get both power valves out with doing it.

how did you sneak the valve around the shaft?

Take the cover and spring off your bellows so it’s exposed. Then take the top two bolts off the top of your steering shaft so there is play. There is enough play to slide your bellows out then.
