belt squeal

Sometimes when I come to a stop on my 2001 Mountain Max 700 the belt squeals a bit. When I give some throttle it stops????

Your belt deflection is to tight, the secondary clutch has three bolts with 8mm heads and likely at least one washer behind the bolt. You can remove the washer and reinstall the bolt, this will stop the problem until you can replace the bolts. The end of the bolt wears out over time allowing the secondary to close to much. Get new bolts and the noise will go away.
