Last and final installment of my BOO BOO.......Three specialists agree.....I have lost 35 percent of my neck movement to view left.........I have lost eye movement and periodic clarity in my right eye.
My next appointment is in Dec, after going 3 times a week to DR.s and muscle benders for the last 5.5 months......That appointment I GARANTEE will be cancelled by me....................................He can wait till April:d:d:d
As the sled season approaches please everyone get all your safety equipment and wear it when the snow gets here.
Or be like JBZ and wear your HELMET year round.
Thanks to all of you who ask how I'am doing in pm's.......It's all GOOD. NO WORRIES.

Although you may not be 100%, good to be a live!:d Looking forward to getting the chance to ride with you!:)

Fortunatley I haven't been busted up too bad on a sled aside from a seperated shoulder and sprained wrists. Nothing that has changed my riding style on a sled. I have had a few bad wrecks on my dirtbikes, quads and dunebuggy that really changed my riding style. Once I broke my back in 4 places and shattered my left ankle and had to walk/crawl for 3 kms out of the bush to get help. It took 8 months to be able to do the simple things I could do before the accident including work and another 2 years for the pain to go away. That changed my riding style big time. Rode like a pussy for 3 seasons. I went from a Pro to a Joe In 2 seconds. All good now though. I know where the line is drawn for my abilities and try to always ride on it but never cross it. Sometimes though that line jumps right out infront of a guy with no warning and your forced to cross it, thats part of the sport and thats where the adrenaline comes from. Stay safe.

Broke my collarbone a few times and a wrist and lots of stitches....
Def changed my riding style...for a few weeks anyways:d:d

However my buddies girl went throiugh a fence on her skidoo and was seriously injured (she has fully recovered) she no longer rides night/evening and he rides less now. Not sure if that has anything to do with that or if its cause he has kids now...
