Paint will probably chip and look like $hit after awhile. Powdercoat would last but if you don't like it ya have to sandblast it off.
Know lots of people run plasti-dip for a different look. Lots of colors available, easy to repair if some does come off and if ya don't like it, you can peel it off.
Thanks! You're probably right on the paint and chipping. I'm wanting to do a dark metallic bronze so I think Plasti Dip is out. But I have used it on other things with good results.
I have ran lots of wheels that were powdercoated (perks of having a good buddy that owns a coating shop) and they held up great, now these were on a summer only driven car, i aslo ran one set of painted wheels on the same car which were done by a professional an awesome painter and they held up just as good but i was a little scared to use the same wheel cleaners i always use to remove brake dust etc. Personally choice i would go with powder as the finish is more durable and the colors in powders out there now are unreal.
