Any late season releases?

I think the manufacturers will stick with there release's. The money they have spent on advertising alone wouldn't warrant any late editions.Flying the dealers to a dealer meeting and not showing them everything while they are there wouldn't go over to well either.

Late season releases pi$$ off customers who already bought "the latest and greatest" then find out something better comes out. Remember the KingKat? Bunch of us bought 03 1M's then spent extra $$$ to make them 156's only to have AC release a 162 a month later. Plicks.

polaris did that with the 2001 edge 700, first one was non ves then a mid season ves 700 release and people were pissed.

It seems lately that the mid-season releases are turning out to be recalls to fix the stuff they didn't thouroughly R&D or test before releasing to the public.

Buddy of ours bought one late in the spring - 800 151
It was then we no longer rules the hills with out 670 Summits.
yeah, I think the dealers could do with them as they chose. they kept the one here as a demo for all the drags and a few mtn trips and then sold it in the spring

If I remember correctly the first 670 Summit X was a mid season release as well. 1997?
