2012 Summit 600 mountain pinweight ???

Need help with what pinweight to install on a 2012 Summit 600? Will be riding from 4500' to about 7000' in BC. Machine is all stock.

Have you ever changed the clutching and pin weight? If not it should be good from stock.

If you have changed it I would go with the stock setup for that sled as it would have been calibrated for that elevation.

I bought the sled used. The guy installed a flatland kit (?) and said it had 64 grams of pinweight. I take it those are solid pins. I would think it should have hollow pins with some amount of setscrews?? Not sure what stock weight is supposed to be.

Check out this site. It has all the high altitude specs for Ski-doo from 98 on.
