Hey guys, were out in Valemount right now and have a guy in our group riding a 2011 ETEC 800. Sled ran great for half a day and now its like it cuts back to half power. Sled starts and idles fine everytime. But after about 10 minutes of riding the sled it will cut back in power and you can only get about 6000rpm out of. It also bogs bad. You can shut the sled down and fire it right back up and it will be fine for about 10 minutes again. As the day progressed it seemed to get worse. We tried both tethers and some gas line antifreeze. Sled has fresh shell v-power. 9 other sleds had the same gas with no issues so pretty sure thats not an issue. No check engine light coming on. Hoping someone has an idea of what it could be. Hoping its something simple.

Sheesh should have bought a polaris. Lol. Make sure all the exhaust connections are secure and that the can is exiting in the hole. Had one pop out and it would run like poop from too much backpressure resting on the frame.

Looks like everything is good on the exhaust. it is in place where it should be and all connections are good on the sensors. Owner said sled didn't overheat. Said is never left the 4th bar the entire time. The sled started doing this yesterday. After sitting all night it was no better today.

Did u check throttle cable to see if everything moves freely and that there's nothing wedged in around the throttle. Because if he happened to of gotten snow packed in around there it won't let you get proper Rpms out of it.

Captain Extreme had a similar problem. Apparently the dealer said it ended up being a wire shorting out under the seat, go figure.

My 2012 acted similar. Would run ok for a couple minutes then bog bad. The dealer found a loose RAVE valve bolt. Seemed to fix the problem right away. Hasn't happened since.
