I agree. Don't drain the tank of stale, old, water filled fuel. No need to eliminate that possibility. I would just rejet and rebuild the carbs for a third time and then top the tank off with even more 87 ethanol water producing fuel. That should work.
You two are meant for each other. Smh with a hand to the forehead.

Make the Caravan weird noise with your lips, record it and post it for best results. I can use the sound to diagnose. This method is much more accurate than any newfangled computer.

I dont have the technology to do that so Ill paint a word picture instead. Imagine a mid-sized but aggressive raccoon got a hold of some nunchuks and ran along your deck railing rattling them off the spindles as he bolted away. Then he runs off the deck and out into the woods. I run aftermarket sparkplugs and 87 octane

87 has ethanol tho, which makes water in tank


Use 91-94 for anything 2smoke

So smc who own's a 1993 340 fan cooled, steel sleeve with about 6:1 compression yielding about 35-40hp should run the most expensive pump fuel because this way water won't "F" it up. OK if you guys say so, darn i knew i was doing something wrong all these years.
There is one thing about S&M, awesome forum for a good laugh and makes me wonder if some actually have real job's or even a life.
BTW, not poking at you Jeffery just the other dimwit:rolleyes:

I am not sure why anyone would want to run 94 octane in a motor designed for 91.

Well I guess if the peak power being made is too much for you.

This may seem counter intuitive...but moreso for my own knowledge... how can I make my 16 assault lift the skis more? There are no adjustment holes on the limiter straps.
It is heavy in the front due to beefier a-arms.
I'm not sure if adjusting the skid would do much as I like the way it hooks up already. But wheelies look so fun.

If the limiter strap is fully let out, you can crank the front track shock so it's stiffer.
Spray wd 40 on the shock threads and then crank the rear track shock softer so that it will just bottom out on big whoops. You can go softer for more wheelie action but it will bottom out more. It's not hard on the sled, only your back.
It will change the ride a bit but try different spring settings till you find your favorite settings.
For a little more wheelie action, stand all the way back on your running boards. When you get wheelie good, practice one hand wheelies while throwing the hang loose sign. It's wheelie cool. Experiment!

And soften up your rear shock as much as possible.

You too can now wheelie like an 850.

I was just concerned for 'ol kanedog - thought his whole damn thread was gonna blow up like a ski-doo XP there for a bit! whew-what a relief. :D
Thx for the support. Because of your post I learned that Shell vpower 91 non ethanol is available across Canada.
I would also like to offer free marriage troubleshooting. Please post a video or sound recording of your worst disagreement. This may need a new section called "Snow and Marriage."

Shell works best... You try and run any of that other crap with Ethanol your sled will run like crap and perform like a Doo... Plus don't trust those small town stations they water down their gas...

And pro tip: Always offer to do the filling for your buddies sled on your deck first, cuz the first 5 litres or more is 87 octane regular untill all the lines get the good 91... Then fill your sled with the good stuff. Don't tell your buddy this of course, or you no longer buddies.

And if you don't have a deck or a trailer, get off Pogie and get a job.
