I ordered the Oakley inferno Pink Prizms online and had them in 4 days, but they would not work. They would turn off almost after a few minutes. They are being returned a we speak.

Like turn off completely? or stop heating after a few minutes? They are only meant to run a 3 min cycle then off, they do not have a continuous run feature like the 509 knock offs do

I tried them years ago, ran them for about 2 years, found the sticky part of the velcro always came off, usually at the worst time, then fighting to take quick straps off and get the strap back on with cold hands, screw that, i put my goggles on the helmet now in the morning and they dont come off till the end of the day, most breaks i dont even take my helmet off anymore. With that ckx titan you can eat and drink by opening the muzzle and the infernos never fog so I just keep it on unless its real warm out

I’m 45 so that is pretty old. I really like my quick straps. I rarely ever fog up. Not even sure why I bought the infernos, sounded cool I guess.

Yep green light should stay on then when you hit the big button they will vibrate for a few seconds. Runs 2 or 3 min to clear and then on standby.

They are designed to turn off after a few min. If the battery pack is turning off completely after a few min than, my guess is the way they are being charged.

Better grab some, thats a good price and the Oakley online store shows them out of stock.

I was talking to the Oakley rep at my dealer this past spring, and she said they may be discontinued this year. I guess they are not at all popular with the skiing crowd. I hope they change their mind, they are the best goggles ive ever owned.

They are discontinued and apparently the new one isn’t heated but has electronic varying tinting where you can lighten and darken.

Lame. Hope I can still get a replacement lens down the road when they get scratched up! Some dealers should pick up the abom line!

Ordered a set of Oakley infernos on the sportcheck site. With the up to 30% deal and triangle rewards, and td visa travel rewards got some good savings. The website is super slow and I had to go back a few times to order but got it done. only one colour in stock left

Hers my ABOM goggles, it charged with USB. The battery is in the goggle. It last about 4 hrs on all the time on a cold day. And if you only use the turbo feature it lasts at least the entire day and charges in about 4 hrs. The quality of this goggle is second to none.

I used ABOM’s almost exclusively last winter. Generally got a day out of them using the momentary on. I provided some feedback to them in hopes they might want to gain some of the sledding community.

Luckily I was able to get them for a discounted rate in order to try them out but full retail was higher than Oakley.
