    Gold, Silver, Paladium, etc...

I have followed prices for quite a few years, I'm no expert but right now I would rather buy platinum, palladium or rhodium. Metals are going up a little lately but will likely drop back down is a few months. Dont buy into the Mike Mahlooney bs, If you can afford to buy and hold until the market...

    Lousy trades.

Maybe you should start working for yourself and show everyone how it's done.

    Lousy trades.

Yeah your right. I wouldn't hire anyone hourly because nine times out of ten they are charging hourly because they are not capable of quoting a job and making money.

    Lousy trades.

Also you cant decide what someones time is worth. Over the years I have become proficient in almost every aspect of residential construction. This is a major asset, If I cant quickly find a trade willing to do the quality of work I expect at a price I feel is fair I am able to do it myself and...

    Lousy trades.

Pay up and forget about it. You cant have a sub liening someones home. Your the contractor and this is exactly why they hired you, to avoid this sort of thing. Your supposed to have trusted sub trades available to hire when your a contractor. You will eventually pay him anyways since you are...

    Fort McMurray burning

The hardest part will be finding city workers to get approval on all these new homes. It takes a long time to have plans drafted to fit the specific land size, plot plans made and finally city approval for the homes, not to mention inspections. And on top of that not a lot of contractors have...

    Hats in restaurants

My parents made me to take my hat off at the table. But they never taught me why, as far as I can tell it's ridiculous. My hats as clean as my shirt. I don't take my hat off for anything unless I choose to, I'm not adapting to someone else's beliefs at their home and I wouldn't expect them to...

    Economy/Recession

Not quite that simple, the labor costs are not a big deal, the real costs are running an operation the way the Canadian government sees fit, including minimum wages, ohs safety, insurance, employing people to mediate any problems the workers may have, the list goes on an on.... forever! And...

My enclosed and SXS got stolen Friday for a few mins.

A regular hammer, slide hammer and a cordless grinder with zip wheel defeats about any lock. About the only way I can see to keep your stuff is insurance and a hidden GPS.
