ice storms (scratchers) on the skis, wheel kit on front of skid, Hyperfax sliders, all will help with this issue.. Last year i ran scratchers and hyperfax, but this year I'm taking the ice storms off and running a wheel kit up front with the hyperfax.
There are HID kits available that plug and play with little modification, no battery or wire harness/relay needed for the XM. I have a set for my sled, it is HID low beam and Halogen/HID for high beam, super bright
bought them from here:
local company decent to deal with.
I have the BRP pre-filter kit. I leave the flap unzipped and velcro the goggles in place with their cloth sleeve on. I havent had a problem with wet goggles. I even dried out a buddys spare gloves in the bag (albeit they were thin) and my plastic cover is not drilled for ventilation.
What was the actual cause of the failure? was it blown up cause it overheated? or did it blow up cause someone built it wrong, a part failed or an act of God? WHAT ACTUALLY FAILED /WHAT IS THE DAMAGE? the computer is just one side of the story IMO
hmm professional build and they let him leave...
Yanked the skid out of my sled last night and slid in some Hiperfax, also mounted some ice storm ski scratchers
One thing i noticed once my skid was out is the shafts that the four skid mounting bolts go do not have grease zerks on them, and the aluminum shafts are dry, is this common for the...
Scratchers are at Martin, not sure if they are the ski ones or not, either way i was gonna make them work on the ski's or the rails
found a set of HYPERFAX sliders and im going for it, This should substitute the need for extra wheels for now, do i have to clip the rest of my track or should i...
ordered a set of idler wheels.. roll the dice i get them in February sometime.. in the meantime, installing a set of ice storms on the front ski's. also ripping all the foam out of the sled.

I didn't think a 20 km trip in the ditches with 1.5-2 feet of powder would be a detriment to my sliders?? and I didnt plan on doing much ditch banging with it, just got the itch..
Does any one know if i have to clip my entire track if i go with the hyperfax or similar sliders? or will every...
Not trying to plug up the forum with another slider wear post. But after reading the "check your slider" thread I decided to check out my sliders after my first day trip on the new T3
first my sled is a 163 t3, Can, pre-filter kit. it has 60km on the odometer break in still says 85
Sliders are...
Thanks again Maxwell for the wrap, got her installed last night. Still have a few other parts to throw on it, but its coming along nicely. Thanks to all of you who provided advice for mounting the slp can (without the proper parts) got that on last night too!
I have purchased HID's online and at local vendors. So far i have had good luck with my ram at Uniway computers. There are multiple location throughout edmonton/sherwood park etc. I have them for my 2011, they are CANBUS ballasts and dont flicker. They "trick" the Headlight Control Module into...
I have been in contact with Slp.. replacement parts are reasonably priced. However, being in a time constraint they sure know how to get you with that pesky overnight shipping. Im not sure exactly what ill do tonight, i think i could figure out the brackets easy enough, but its that seal at the...
I just picked up a used SLP can for my new T3. Cant seem to find any installed pictures, but when i read the instructions for installation on SLP website, it appears that i needed more than just the can, there seems to be a gasket missing between the can and belly pan (not the pipe gasket) and a...
