I too have a 174 that had no idlers in it. After first weekend the sliders were gone. I put in only one at the front and have 1500 km on sliders now. So one set seemed to work for me. I believe I used the holes in the rails that were the furthest back.
There should of been a wire harness that just plugs in and leaves you with another aux wire to hook up a gps too.

If it doesn't have the single connector from the relay and has two wires that come off the relay it's the old wire harness. I did the swap from my 11 to my t3. And just bought the new starter relay and it plugged right into the wire harness that is zipped tied above your pull start and oil tank...
i have both of them and much prefer the bibs a lot warmer and no snow down the back. but which ever you decide you will not be dissapointed as they are both great
does anyone know is you can get a tunnel extension for a 154 to a 174 i and would i be able to use new rails to extend to accomadate the new track or would i need a 163 skid and ice age rails. i would like to get the biggest track i can and am putting in 7 tooth avid drivers. and would a BB...
just had mine done $2500.00 parts and labour. have to strip the whole sled right down i think it was at least 25 hrs labour. they grinded my s module to get at the other a module or vise vera other wise i would have one for ya. sorry.try out of the states as if you take it anywhere around here...
