I bought the 12v power plug from the dealer. It installs in the front box, but the connector on the machine has no slack and is the wrong connection.

Am I supposed to bust out the soldering gun and make my own connection or did they give me the wrong 12v plug?

I put one in my '14, i can't remember if the extra wire to plug it in was part of the package i bought or if it was already in the sled. Either way you have a problem...... My sled is at the dealer or I would go out and take a picture for you.

Edit: Im sure the wire was part of the power outlet package....

There should of been a wire harness that just plugs in and leaves you with another aux wire to hook up a gps too.
Cones with the kit. I installed mine with ease. Plug in and re assemble

Yea I think skidoo parts screwed up on the T3. They added a coil which you need to buy separate so the RF DESS wouldn't screw up but they forgot the wiring harness. My dealer just gave me an extra harness for mine.

It doesn't seem to be that uncommon I installed a BRP supplied GPS on my T3 and the harness was also missing in the unopened box.

We have the mating power connectors in Calgary if anyone needs them, 2 pins and socket, $5.

We also have a crimper if you need a complete cable made up.

Chris.
