Should I upgrade my pistons at the same time the new head is installed?

no, not bald. I'm also looking for info on shaving the heads on my 01 summit 800 .010". Any input on this? I have done no other mods, and plan on some v-force reeds at the same time. Will I have to stick with 92 oct. and higher with a shaved head? Thanks

Avgas still has low amounts of lead. It's designated 100LL. (100 octane, low lead.) Aircraft engines still req LL fuel, due to engine design.

Do you have an estimate $ for the mitsubishi turbo? I will plan on running straight avgas, so will I need a new head and pistons?

Will a dynoport single pipe (for an 02 800) fit an 01 800? Should I stick with a stock pipe, and go with an aftermarket silencer?

Well, an 01 isn't old, (I grew up on a 73 cheetah), but thought that most everyone here was on the new rev platform, or newer sleds. My 01 certainly doesn't feel old. It only has 2400 km on it!:eek:
