I agree the boys in McBride do a fantastic job in keeping the trails in good shape. I am thinking about going to McBride this weekend, haven't been for quite a while. Can anyone give me an insight into the ridding conditions. Have heard it is mostly pounded out and hard packed. Great for a...
So far I can't see many 'old guys' commenting on here. I'm 68 and still ride the mountains when I can. I am lucky enough to get out 2 or 3 times a year. Yes I have changed my riding style. I started off with an old Olympic 399 on the hills around Turner Valley. Then on to a Citation 4500...
I bought an aluminum one that I can load with no problems. Very light, it lays in be truck bed. Simple to use. Don't have to take a run as it has built in cross members for climbing up. You can see it at: . Very easy to lift the sled up and roll it into the back of the truck. I have used...
I just bought a complete RAM mounting kit from GPS City in Cgy. They sent it here by Fed-ex and it arrived the next day. Complete kit cost me $38.94 including gst and shipping. It's now nestled securely on my sled.

What does everybody use to mount a GPS on your sled? I usually carry mine in a handlebar bag but it looses sattelite contact occasionially. Is there an easy way I can mount it to the dash? Wondering about a RAM mount?
Check out this site: singletoycarrier.ca. I was looking for a single sled carrier and came accross this. I bought it and it works great. No holes to drill, just set it in the box.
Thanks Shredder for posting this video. It really emphasises the need to constantly be aware of your surroundings and possible dangers and to not push the limits of what your inner self is telling you is too much danger. One of the statements that got to me was that the greatest thing is to be...
