Not a freakin' chance. I made it to mile 9 on the west side before snow on the road stopped me. At mile 10 (Summit), still 1-2 ft of snow on the road.
Besides that at mile 4 the Forestry has closed the road as it is sliding and caving away in several areas.

After seeing HADSTERS 850XP perform with Bighorn tires in knee deep spring snow, I decided to loose my stock Terrathons and get something more aggressive but still good for dry trails, AND not break the budget. Found the deal I could live with at Home - Discount Tire Direct and had them shipped...
This may inspire some ideas for anyone who needs to carry a chain saw and is a bit handy with tools.
The mid size Polaris have a round bar that I used for a mount. Other quads will vary.
Materials were:
1/2 " plywood
2 electrical conduit clamps
2 eye bolts
some #8 wood screws
4 carriage bolts...
Here's a couple of photo's I took today out Quading/Trackin'. Shows exactly how snow layers up and is ready to slide. This little guy let go about the time my pals quad got alongside.
This photo is on Hwy3 (Kootenay Pass) west of Creston BC. They moved over 100,000 cu meters of snow to clear the road.
