Is there camping at that Oliver lake Rec site? Accesible by truck in the summer? We are out at Kootenay lake every summer and I wouldn't mind checking out some new areas.

There is a picknic/rest area there with tables and biffy; Nothing organized - no charge.

This area is 10 miles up the Gray Pass Rd., East of the Gray Creek store. Easy access by truck

Do you have any more pics of the area? I have a four wheel camper that I like to camp in and that place would be perfect.

great pics. I had the opportunity to try a 650 Prowler on tracks. I think the 1000 prowler would be an awesome machine. You summer winter comparison pics are great. In your opinion do you think a 1000 prowler would float or sink?

Thanks for the pics, the lake looks nice. Are there any fish in that lake and are the campsites close to the lake.

Skyhigh - Fish are in lake and close by Redding Crk. Camp site 100 meters from lake.

Snodin - camera is an older Olympus C-2100 2.1 mega pix.

Pipes - big thing about tracks is the surface area. Pals blue Sportsman X2 500HO all up weighs approx 1200 lbs, so that should give you some idea. Best choice of tracks for me would be Tatou 4S or Commander Trek series.

Ya those Olympus cameras are something else. I have a bud who bought a cheapy Olympus that out shines my (tons of money) Canon Rebel like crazy.

Anyway, keep posting pics. I'm jealous of the great scenery, good quality photos and those tracks. I'd really like to get some tracks for my Rhino. :specool:
