    Cadomin Trails ?

Have a cabin in Cadomin, got a call from Inland cement, that I don't have access to my property because of the McLeod River taking out our crossing and the train track just south of town. Going up Sunday to see how bad the damage is. The last big flood there was in 1968 which tore out so much...

    Surgery was a success

About the only thing that card is good for is lighting a fire!! I have two of those cards for seperate hip replacements, and its not worth the effort to pull the cards out of your wallet. You are still gonna get wanded and searched to the nth degree. In fact, in Amsterdam's airport they...

    Pileups!!!

Its the fawkers that stay right beside each other on a 2 lane hiway that get me. Totally oblivious, that traffic is building up behind them, and then..........theres the fawkers that pinch you off on a 2 lane as you are coming up on the slower traffic in the right lane. If I'm in the fast...

    Preferred chainsaw brand(s)

Stihl AV 28 Wood Boss. Purchased Aug 5 1987. Replaced 20" bar about 5 years ago. I always have at least 4 chains going at a time. Never want to be without a sharp chain. Been very very happy with that purchase. Think i paid close to $500 back then. It has been worth every penny. About 5...

Hey vanderkooi, Boots said i said i should give you a call re the lifts that he was making. I somehow got lost in the shuffle. I was one of the first to pony up and say ya i would like one, and anyways long story short he is really busy now, and says you may have one or know of one or have...

    A Great Big Thanks.......

And A Great big thanks to you Farm_Boy. I too have had the privelege of cleaning up after a few azzholes up in the cadomin area. Total lack of respect for everything around them, and above all themselves. Only problem i had was I myself than got into ch!t with the "operator" of Whitehorse...

    cadomin/ cardinal divide alberta

Can't remember how well the Grave Flats turnoff is marked, but its pretty hard to miss. It basically is a y intersection which would be coming in from your right. Much narrower road than the Pembina, and as I said, not maintained. According to Google Earth Lat is 52 52'1.59 N and Long is...

    cadomin/ cardinal divide alberta

Grave Flats road can be interesting. Its not really maintained, although they did mark where a lot of the road is washed out closer to the divide. Road is very rough and rocky. Its definetely better coming from the Pembina River Road.

    cadomin/ cardinal divide alberta

Naww, I got to ride as ballast on the 800 Outlander. We were thinking safety in numbers, (going into Smallboys camp), plus not being by yourself. First golden rule, never go alone!!!! The old buddy system. Took us about an hour and 15 minutes to go from smallboys camp to cadomin via the...

    cadomin/ cardinal divide alberta

Should be ok now. Dropped into the Cardinal River valley over the divide on Saturday April 12th. Beautiful Day, about 20 C, made it into Ruby Lake and then turned around. Too nice out that day, couldn't make it back up the divide. Ended siphoning gas out of 3 machines into one to make it to...
